Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, from Teen Mom, are
expecting their second child. However, they decided to put their first child up
for adoption. Before, they were not ready for a child and could not support it,
so they did the right thing and gave the baby to a couple who could not have
one. Now that they are financially stable and engaged, they believe they are
ready to take on the journey to parenthood. They have gone to parenting classes and own
their own house. They have grown up a lot and are very responsible young
adults.
Personally, I think it was a great idea for the couple to
put their first child up for adoption when Catelynn got pregnant at the age of
sixteen. I do not believe in abortion. If you do not want your child then there
is always adoption. A girl can give her baby to someone who cannot have one and
wishes to. There is always birth control and condoms to help prevent pregnancy.
I have nothing against teen mothers due to the fact I have friends who are teen
mothers. However, they told me they wish they would have waited because it is a
hard thing to do, especially while still in school.
Eventually, I want children but not until after I finish
school and financially stable. I do not want to have to depend on anyone to try
to support my child other than myself and the father. I will make sure my child
has everything he or she needs and no less.
