This Is Who I Really Am

My name is Kayla Byess. I was born June 28, 1997 to Cathie Byess and Howard Byess. I have two siblings, Kelsey and Josh. I am the youngest out of all of my siblings. Currently, I am a junior at Diamond Oaks CDC. I am originally from Taylor High School located in Cleves, OH. At Diamond Oaks, my career lab is Health Technology. Ever since I have started attending Diamond Oaks, nothing but good things has happened for me. I am now a STNA and CPR certified. I am a cheerleader for Taylor High School. I have been cheering since I was in kindergarten.

When I graduate from high school, I hope to go to college at Mount St. Joseph. I dream of becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and healing sick children. In my free time, I like to hang out with friends and listen to music. I like to listen to Rap, Hip-hop, R&B, and some country. My favorite books are Speak and Thirteen Reasons Why. Every day after school, I come home and watch Spongebob Squarepants, which has been my favorite TV show since I was little.

If I had one wish, it would be for my grandma to get better and her kidney disease to go away. I wish my family would get along better and there wouldn’t be as much fighting every day. If I had a million dollars, I would donate some to the Make a Wish Foundation, go shopping, and save the rest for college. One thing I am really good at is listening to people and giving advice. However, one last thing you should know about me is I try too hard and care too much about things I should not.
